Shop Notes No. 1 A Beginning, and a Few Things on the Way

Opening Ripy & Vine during the holidays was a bit of a sprint. We pushed ourselves to get the doors open in time, knowing the season would be busy, joyful, and a little chaotic. And honestly? It was wonderful.

Welcoming so many of you into the shop for the first time, watching bottles get picked up for dinner parties, gifts tucked under arms, snacks grabbed for the walk home. That’s exactly why we wanted to open this space in the first place. Thank you for the kind words, the patience, the encouragement, and the repeat visits. It meant more than you know.

A Quick Note From the Internet Side of Things

If you’re reading this, you already know we have a new website. We’ll be adding products as they land in the shop, with options for in store pickup and local delivery. Not everything will go up at once, and some things will stay in store only, but think of it as an extension of the shelves. Check back often. Things will change.

Things Might Look a Little Different Around Here

You may notice the shop shifting and evolving over the next little while. We built Ripy & Vine to feel lived in, not locked in. There are a few bigger ideas we didn’t quite get to finish before opening day, and we’re excited to start bringing them to life.

That means some projects, some rearranging, and a few changes as we keep shaping the space. Nothing disruptive, just thoughtful tweaks and additions that make the shop feel even more like what we imagined it could be. Thanks in advance for bearing with us while we keep building.

The Wine Club Starts This Month

January also marks the start of something we’ve been quietly planning for a while. The Ripy & Vine Wine Club officially launches this month.

It’s simple. Four bottles, once a month, chosen with intention. Wines you’ll actually want to open, drink, and share. No guesswork, no pressure, just really good bottles picked around how people actually drink.

To kick things off, we’re hosting a Wine Club tasting event on January 24th. It’s a chance to taste what the club is all about, ask questions, and see if it feels like a good fit for you.
