Pubblicano is 100% Dolcetto, with loads of dark cherry, blackberry and plum, a little spice, and that pleasantly grippy finish that makes Dolcetto so good with food.

Viberti is a historic Barolo producer, but the family has a long relationship with Dolcetto too. In 2019, they brought old vineyards in Dogliani's Valdibà area back into production, creating Pubblicano as a celebration of a grape that has been part of everyday drinking in Piedmont for generations.

Despite its name translating roughly to “little sweet one,” Dolcetto isn't actually sweet.
