A fresh, textured Chenin Blanc from Saumur with pear, crisp apple and citrus alongside white flowers and a subtle touch of tropical fruit. It’s dry and medium-bodied, balancing Chenin’s naturally bright acidity with a little roundness and weight from time spent on the lees.

Domaine de l’Enchantoir sits in Le Puy-Notre-Dame, at the southern end of the Saumur appellation. The vineyards are organically farmed and planted over the region’s famous tuffeau, the soft white limestone that runs beneath much of Saumur.

And that limestone is exactly where Terres Blanches gets its name. The vines grow over the white Turonian limestone of the Enchantoir hillside, and the wine is aged on its lees to build texture while preserving the freshness and intensity of the fruit.

Fresh, chalky and beautifully balanced. Chenin doing what Chenin does best.
