A beautifully classic red Burgundy from Savigny-lès-Beaune, made from 100% Pinot Noir. Raspberry, ripe cherry and strawberry meet violets, earthy spice and a subtle mineral edge, with fresh acidity and fine, structured tannins. It’s medium-bodied and elegant, but there’s enough depth and grip here to remind you this isn’t delicate Pinot for delicate Pinot’s sake.

Domaine Pierre Guillemot is a family estate that has been rooted in Savigny-lès-Beaune for six generations. Pierre Guillemot rebuilt the domaine with his sister after the Second World War, and today the family farms around ten hectares across Savigny and the Corton hill.

Les Grands Picotins is a single vineyard within the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation. For the 2022 vintage, the Guillemots worked with roughly 50% whole clusters, bringing extra perfume and spice to the naturally ripe red fruit of the vintage.

This is proper old-school Burgundy. Pinot Noir, dirt, patience and absolutely no need to show off.
