Famille Fabre Grand Courtade L'Instant

A fresh, dry rosé from the Languedoc made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Pale and bright, with wild strawberry, cranberry and tart red fruit, it has a little bit of body while staying crisp and refreshing.

Grande Courtade is part of Famille Fabre, a family of winegrowers with roots in the Languedoc going back generations. The vineyards sit on sunny Mediterranean terraces, and the grapes for this rosé are actually harvested at night to keep them cool and preserve as much freshness as possible. The wine is then fermented at low temperatures and aged entirely in stainless steel.

The estate is organically farmed, and this is about as classic a southern French rosé experience as you could ask for. Cold bottle, sunny patio, something salty to eat.

Sometimes wine really doesn't need to be more complicated than that.
