A vinous, energetic Blanc de Noirs made entirely from Pinot Noir. Ripe orchard fruit and citrus meet chalk, subtle spice and a savoury mineral edge, with fine bubbles, plenty of texture and a long, salty finish. At just 1 gram per litre dosage, it’s extremely dry without sacrificing generosity.
Gaspard Brochet is one of the younger growers making serious noise in Champagne. After growing up in a winemaking family and spending time in graphic design, he returned home and began producing wine under his own name, eventually taking over the family vineyards in Écueil and Villers-aux-Nœuds.
333.f brings together Pinot Noir from Écueil, Sacy and Villers-aux-Nœuds, three Premier Cru villages in the Montagne de Reims. This release is based on the 2022 harvest with reserve wine from 2020, using fruit from vines averaging around 50 years old.
The 333 series changes with each release, right down to the artwork on the label. Small production, old vines and a winemaker who treats Champagne like wine first and bubbles second.
Serious Champagne in a bottle that looks like it belongs in an art gallery.
