A bright, ridiculously drinkable Gamay from Régnié, packed with fresh strawberry, red currant and juicy cherry, with violets, a little spice and that unmistakable Beaujolais crunch. Light-bodied and fresh, with soft tannins and enough structure to keep all that fruit from simply disappearing down the hatch.

En Voiture Simone comes from Jean-Paul and Charly Thévenet, one of the great families of natural Beaujolais. Jean-Paul was part of the group of winemakers who helped reshape the region in the 1980s by returning to organic farming, native yeasts and low-intervention winemaking. Today he works alongside his son Charly.

The fruit comes from old Gamay vines in Régnié, planted on decomposed granite and schist. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented as whole clusters using carbonic maceration, then aged in concrete. It's classic Beaujolais technique built around freshness, perfume and pure fruit.

And the name? “En voiture, Simone!” is a classic French expression that basically means “Let’s go!” It traces back to French racing driver Simone Louise des Forest and was later made famous on French television.
